Macrobiotic Organ Diagnosis.

One of the strengths of the Macrobiotic system is that we (as Counselors/Nutritionists) get trained to analyze the strength of your organs, rooted in the Oriental method of diagnosis. Our training lends us to a 4-year practice in facial organ diagnosis and touch-meridian diagnosis. Can you believe that the health of all your organs, is displayed on your face, sometimes I find myself stuck at an airport and talking to myself when looking at people saying ‘Ooops kidneys off,’ or ‘Clogged digestive.’ It’s just a part of my metal map now.

Here is what each part of the face represents –

  • Cheeks – The condition of the cheek shows the condition of the lungs
  •

  • Tip of the nose – The heart and its functions and the nostrils represent the bronchi connecting to the lungs
  •

  • Middle of the nose Represents the stomach, and the upper part the condition of the pancreas
  •

  • Eyes – represent the kidneys, and condition of the ovaries in a woman and testicles in a man. The left eye represents the spleen and pancreas, and the right the liver and gall bladder
  •

  • Area between the brows – Represents the liver
  •

  • Forehead – Represents the small intestine and peripheral areas the large intestine
  •

  • Ears – Represent the kidneys
  •

  • Mouth – The condition of the digestive functions. Upper and lower lips represent different areas of the digestive/li>

At a glimpse I look for abnormalities, like changes in the texture of skin, colour, eruptions, lines and rashes; apart from many more indications on what could be off in your organs. For e.g., a lip that has vertical wrinkles shows a recession in hormonal functions, especially the gonad hormones, including sexual functions are declining. Overconsumption of dry foods and salt could also cause this condition. This is actually one of the biggest strengths of the Macrobiotic approach, to help reverse an ailment or put you in remission.
